In addition to providing clients with our own in-house design expertise, Pinecone Inc. is proud to boast incredible working relationships with independent stylists who are also available to shine their unique talents, perspectives, and vast areas of expertise onto our clients’ projects. When you commission Pinecone Inc., you will graciously be handed a window of design opportunities through our network of partners, vendors, and industry friends.
Stripped to our core, Pinecone Inc. remains true to its humble beginnings as students of design, driven by quality, hard-work ethic, and beauty. Today, we boast a beautiful showroom in a classic historic neighborhood while holding true to who we are. We are visionaries who dream big and crave innovation; we are artisans who seek out individuality; and we are magicians who want nothing more than to make dreams come true.
We are Pinecone Inc., the newest showroom of its kind in the Pacific Northwest region. If our thousands of design products and materials aren’t enough reason to stop by on their own merit, then our conversation is. Rumor has it that we are pretty fun to talk to as well!

Trained in the philosophy of feng shui, she creates harmonious balance for her clients by thoughtfully harnessing the human relationship with the natural world. Her spaces effortlessly hone in on the unique lifestyles, emotional needs, and aesthetic desires of her clients, promoting an overall sense of well-being and fulfillment.
Angela created SoMi Spaces in 2021 as a cohesive platform from which to share her inherent and studied abilities to serve others through design. A play on the phrase, “This is so me,” the concept of SoMi Spaces beautifully combines Angela’s vast experiences as a certified feng shui consultant, licensed holistic esthetician, and certified intuitive life coach. Under this one umbrella, she carved a niche for herself in an untapped market to fulfill not only the physical and artistic needs of her clients, but simultaneously serve their spiritual needs as well.
“A well-designed space can create wholeness in a person’s life,” adds Angela. “Your surroundings directly impact your sense of well-being. A space that welcomes positive energy will also encourage a healthy mind, a mind that can manifest a beautiful life regardless of what it is you’re seeking.”
Immediately prior to conceiving SoMi Spaces, Angela helped co-found Pinecone Inc, where she was the lead designer, also overseeing business logistics. She spent nearly two decades as a licensed holistic esthetician, utilizing her innate inter-personal skills when creating whole-body wellness for her clientele. Further, she is a certified intuitive coach dedicated to helping individuals connect with their deepest self. Angela maintains an Associate Degree in Business from Skagit Valley College.
Whether through design, esthetics, or coaching, Angela has dedicated the entirety of her professional career to elevating the lives of others. She brings an unparalleled, heartful commitment and soulful approach to all that she does, both personally and professionally, which certainly has separated her from other professionals in her field. Clients trust her wholly with their needs, and she delivers.
In her free-time, Angela can often be found spending quality time with her incredible sons, Jaeger and Bode, and her beloved pets, Ziggy, Ash, and Blaze. She is a lover of nature and is always up for a good hike, creating eco-friendly and beautiful spaces, luxury upcycling, traveling, and cooking.
Angela lives by the saying by David Viscott: “The purpose of life is to discover your gift; the meaning of life is to give your gift away.” This is evident from just one encounter with her.
One could say that Pinecone Inc. is a culmination of Rich Callison’s lifelong professional pursuit of quality design and craftsmanship, excellence in customer experiences, and continued overall growth. He comes from a family that boasts three generations of designers; his father being the first to put a tool in his hand and teach him about the importance of value, both personally and professionally. Now, with nearly 25 years of experience and knowledge under his belt, he is seeing his dreams come to fruition with the opening of Pinecone Inc.
In the capacity of Principal Artisan, Rich’s primary responsibilities include providing project estimates, sourcing all products, overseeing project management, sales, and logistics. With a visionary’s mind and youthful enthusiasm for new and fun ideas, Rich has made a hobby out of sourcing innovative and distinctive products and materials that he can introduce to his clients and into his residential and commercial design projects.
Early in his career, Rich opened and managed a new distribution center located in Europe, whereby he was responsible for supply deliveries throughout Europe and the U.S. He followed this vast experience by establishing Callison Hardwood Floors where he spent 20 years honing his industry expertise, expanding his network, and understanding the various nuances of business ownership.
It was during his time in Europe that Rich was awakened to the concept of eco-friendly products and construction. Since then, working with products that minimize his footprint while still offering aesthetic beauty and high quality has been a priority.
In his free-time, Rich enjoys the great outdoors, especially camping and mountain biking. He has three children: son, Ashton; daughter, Hannah; and son, Cole.
His life motto follows that of “An Unreasonable Man” by George Bernard Shaw which states, “the reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.”
